Cajun Shrimp: A Recipe by Carmelita Seafood

Cajun Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and minced garlic. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes for extra flavor.

  2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

  3. Add Lemon: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and stir well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over rice, pasta, or alongside a fresh salad.
