Ingredients

  • 1 pound halibut fillets (sourced from Carmelita Seafood)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce (3 minutes)

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, and black pepper. Remember to set aside a small portion of this mixture to use as a finishing sauce.

Prepare the Halibut (5 minutes)

Pat the halibut fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of the fillets with the prepared sauce mixture.

Cook the Halibut

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the halibut fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Finish and Serve

Once cooked, drizzle the reserved sauce over the halibut fillets. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
